For many years most of the world-famous water parks were located in North America. In recent years, countries of South America decided to stop falling behind their northern neighbors. There have appeared enormous water parks with dozens of various slides and fancy pools almost in each of them. An original topical park was opened in Colombia, and Brazil surprised the whole world with an ecological one. But Paraguay went further, and a giant water park with lots of entertainment appeared in the surroundings of Luque.
The Rakiura Resort Club can hardly be called only a water park because there are a lot of sports zones with a great amount of leisure. Since the opening day in 2005, this club has won the love and avowal of everyone without exception. The best infrastructure and annually expanding list of entertainment services have no analogs and can satisfy any wishes of the most demanding guests.
The pool with an area of more than 500 sq.m. with artificial waves, three children’s pools with water games and an extreme slide with five waterfalls of different speeds, with a total height of 26 meters, are only a small part of all the entertainment activities available to the club’s visitors. In addition to spacious pools and an ideally equipped gym with separate cycling, Zumba and pilates areas, there are eleven high-level lit tennis courts and two paddle tennis courts. Fans of team games are welcome to one of two professional volleyball playgrounds, a rugby or football field or a multifunctional court, where they can play basketball or any other games. Less active visitors can try themselves in archery or on the lit golf course. But here the offers of the Rakiura Resort Club are not over. The club owns the Rakiura Equestrian Academy. Its riding lessons are available to all guests.
