The bridge made of such simple materials had a length of more than 130 meters. Besides, it was located at an altitude of 70 meters above the Capilano River. At that time, it was the longest suspension bridge made without additional supporting structures.

However, there were always daredevils who were ready to cross the bridge. At first, spectators gathered around the bridge to watch those brave ones. Today, the bridge is private property. Additional pedestrian paths and recreation areas were organized next to the bridge. All this is illuminated by beautiful lights in the evening.
