Boyana waterfall is a truly fascinating spectacle, created by nature. It is located at the foot of Vitosha mountain.

The water falls rapidly from a 20-meter height and breaks on the rocks with thousands of splashes that shimmer in the sun as precious stones. The noise of the waterfall is the only thing that breaks the silence of this place. It seems that all the nature around just froze in a sweet dream. On the way to the waterfall, you can enjoy the stunning beauty of the mighty trees, the pleasant coolness and soothing sound of water in the distance, the aroma of flowers everywhere, breathe in the fresh mountain air. And if you go up to the highest point, you will get a stunning view of the whole of Sofia. The oak forest around, mosses and springs, are no less attractive.

You can get to the waterfall together with an excursion tour. Or you can walk to the place on your own.  It is possible to take a bus or walk. The walk will take about 2 hours. But the walk will be impressed with all the picturesque landscapes of the mountain ranges. it is also possible to get on buses.
