The park was made in Guadeloupe but is considered as a French nature reserve. The paths through dense rainforests with a variety of birds, deafening waterfalls, snow-white beaches, and steep mountains - this is what it looks like. The park was built in 1970. Its collection includes mysterious coral reefs in the coastal waters of the Caribbean.

Try to visit the waterfall in the morning, to avoid crowds of people. Then, it seems that you are alone in the wild jungle.

The park also has more mysterious places. But only locals know about them. To find the mystery, you need the help of an experienced guide. He leads you along the paths that seem very dangerous if you go alone. He also shows you beautiful deep ravines, hot springs, high waterfalls. After this walk, you will be very tired but happy. 

In the National Park of Guadeloupe, you can climb mountains as well as swim in waterfalls. There is a modern interactive museum, where you can learn a lot about local flora and fauna, and ancient peoples of Guadeloupe. You can also visit a cute place - a swimming pool with manatees. These animals are protecting for restore their population.

On the territory of the National Park is located an active volcano Soufriere. It may erupt.

The volcano is the main peak of the island. Its height is 1467 meters. Though it is active, tourists are allowed to come there. Anyone can take a walk to the volcano with a guide. 

Along the way, you may see various hot springs and cracks. The volcano does not have one crater. At its top, there are some fumaroles, which emit sulfur fumes and gases in a quiet time. The peak is hidden by a dense fog.
