For the first time, the famous children's Disneyland amusement park opened its doors in Sunny California and since then, it has become a cherished dream of children around the world. Later, other amusement parks appeared in Florida and Paris and also became well-known among children. But there is one of the most popular parks on the border of the East and the West – on the largest Hong Kong Lantau Island.

Hong Kong Disneyland, the largest theme park in the region, was opened in 2005. The unique project not only shows visitors the traditions and culture of China but also follows all the canons of the Taoist art of feng shui. For example, a small bend at the central entrance is designed to flow Chi energy in the right direction. It amazingly combines modern technologies of the West and traditional elements of the East.

The territory of the «Asian twin» of the American Disneyland occupies the territory of about 30 hectares and is divided into separate thematic areas or «lands». Seven fantastic sectors, that smoothly transfer from one theme into another, represent the wonderful world of Walt Disney, known by children and adults thanks to numerous cartoons with bright colorful characters.

A fascinating journey through Hong Kong Disneyland begins with Castle of Magical Dreams (former Sleeping Beauty Castle), where a fabulous train departs from a real railway station. Through the main square, moving further into the Magic Kingdom, guests enter the wild realm of the dangerous jungle. Lush dense greenery and statues of exotic animals create a unique vibe of the Amazon forests, and breathtaking rides make you feel like Indiana Jones. At the next station, called Tomorrowland, you can fly on a giant rocket to space or look into the mysterious future of our planet. You can also go back to the distant past, to the world of the Wild West with fearless cowboys and steep roller coasters.

Hong Kong Disneyland is the largest Walt Disney Park in the world. There is the largest Tarzan’s Treehouse, and all comers can go on the Jungle River Cruise to the real jungle.

The open area of the park regularly hosts popular musical shows dedicated to the famous stories of «The Lion King» and «Moana». And of course, the territory of Hong Kong Disneyland is inhabited by famous Disney cartoon characters – Mickey and Minnie Mouse, cheerful Donald Duck and funny dog Pluto.
